Twain's story of an orphan is often cited as the greatest American novel.

Based in the mid 1800s before the Civil War, the novel chronicles the journey of and relationship between Huckleberry Finn and a runaway southern slave, Jim, as they flee south on the Mississippi River. The pair have a journey that bring them together and that clearly shows Mark Twain's dislike for slavery in the southern culture.

Honesty, self-acceptance and unconditional love: These are just a few qualities that I, as a human, have aspired to have in my life and in my relationships. A seeker of wisdom and enlightenment, I have wrestled with life's great mysteries but have yet to reach a state of inner peace. It's ironic that I have had the perfect teacher right here all along. She's the one who's been digging up my back yard.

A fun, lighthearted song and a humourous, insightful companion booklet exploring the "tail" behind it, make Auburn Eyes a delight for animal lovers everywhere.
