Why Audiobooks?

Ninety-seven million Americans drive alone to work everyday, and commuters are stuck in traffic an average of 62 hours per year. With the rising popularity of MP3 players such as the iPod and more and more new cars being fitted with built-in MP3 players (as of this year, almost all new cars are now capable of playing digital audio files), people are now discovering that they can "listen" to books, teleseminars, lectures and podcasts while they're on-the-go -- and when they don't have time to read. Hence, the huge popularity of audio books with commuters. Today's selection of downloadable audio books is not limited to just fiction and literary works, but runs the gamut from how-to manuals to business books and self-help information.

So audiobooks are great alternative to listening to the music while you are commuting, because while listening to the audiobooks you can benefit so much more. Increase your knowledge, practice self-help, enjoy books you always wanted to read, but never had time to do so...
